Cisco’s Career
Certifications are the most
prestigious and in-demand IT
certifications on the market.
Cisco certification brings
increased job opportunities,
respect from the IT industry and
substantial financial rewards.
Our
PowerLearning Cisco Certified
Network Associate CCNA training
course provides students with
the knowledge and skills that
are needed to install,
configure, operate, and
troubleshoot medium-size routed
and switched networks, including
implementation and verification
of connections to remote sites
in a WAN.
The new CCNA
training course curriculum
includes basic mitigation of
security threats, introduction
to wireless networking concepts
and terminology, and
performance-based skills. The
curriculum also includes the use
of these protocols: IP, Enhanced
Interior Gateway Routing
Protocol (EIGRP), Serial Line
Interface Protocol Frame Relay,
Routing Information Protocol
Version 2 (RIPv2),VLANs,
Ethernet, and Access Control
Lists (ACLs).
The Cisco CCNA certification
exam will test materials from
the new Interconnecting Cisco
Network Devices (ICND) courses
Part 1 640-822 and 640-816 Part
2, both included in the
PowerLearning training course
module.
To enhance our CCNA training
course curriculum, our developer
has partnered with RouterSim to
add an additional lab resource
for clients. RouterSim's CCNA™
Network Visualizer® 6.0 is a
CCNA router and network
simulator that allows you to
design, build and configure your
own network. This excellent tool
for CCNA exam preparation is
available with our CCNA training
packages at an extra cost.
The training on
the CD is produced in a
classroom environment with a
professional instructor showing
you and telling you exactly how
to setup each configuration in
detail. Students will learn from
real-world scenarios taught by
our expert instructors. The
instructors featured in our
PowerLearning™ training systems
are not only certified in their
area of expertise, but also have
years of real world experience
and are subject matter experts
in their fields.
